The Spooky Cup 2021 Online Competition has been announced for Pokémon Sword and Shield. This competition permits only Pokémon that are deemed spooky and 50 Battle Points will be given to all participants. After the competition concludes, ratings will be available in the Victory Stadium, as well as 50 Battle Points as a Mystery Gift for all participants.
Battle against other Trainers with your most spine-chilling Pokémon in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.
Just in time for the Halloween season, the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Spooky Cup 2021 in-game competition has begun. From Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. until Sunday, October 17, 2021, at 4:59 p.m. PDT, you can take part in this aptly named competition alongside your scariest-looking Pokémon partners. As an added twist, only the final evolved forms of Pokémon can battle—for example, you can have Crobat on your team, but not Zubat or Golbat. Trainers who participate in at least one Spooky Cup 2021 battle, regardless of whether they win or lose, will earn 50 Battle Points.
The Spooky Cup 2021 is comprised of Double Battles. Duplicate Pokémon and duplicate items are not permitted.
To view your rankings after the competition has ended, follow these steps:
- Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game.
- Open the X menu.
- Select VS.
- Select Battle Stadium.
- Select Online Competitions.
- Select Search Official Competitions.
To receive your participation gift after the competition, follow these steps:
- Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game.
- Open the X menu.
- Select Mystery Gift.
- Select Get a Mystery Gift.
- Select Get Battle Stadium Rewards.
