Pokémon Masters EX, the latest strategy and battling Pokémon game for mobile platforms, is now available for download on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). In celebration of the game’s release, special in-game events and rewards are offered for a limited time. The popular Legendary Event: Lurking Shadow featuring Giovanni and Mewtwo has officially returned:

Legendary Event: Lurking Shadow is back!

You can team up with Giovanni & Mewtwo in this event.

With rewards from the Prize Box and the event Missions, you will be able to raise the potential and move level of Giovanni & Mewtwo.

Additionally, you can raise Giovanni & Mewtwo to 6★ EX in conjunction with this event.

Event Details

You can complete battles and progress through the event to team up with Giovanni & Mewtwo!

You can collect Legendary Prize Coins P by completing battles, then use them to pull from the Prize Box!

When you pull a grand prize from the Prize Box, you can move on to the next Prize Box pool.

Grand prizes include 5★-Guaranteed Scout Tickets, Giovanni & Mewtwo’s Custom ★ Power-Ups, and more!

Event Missions

You can take on special missions during the event period.

If you meet certain conditions in event missions, you can earn event medals and acquire Giovanni & Mewtwo more times to level up their moves.

Exchange Items

Item exchanges are currently available in conjunction with Legendary Event: Lurking Shadow.

If you no longer need to raise potential for Giovanni & Mewtwo, you can exchange Giovanni & Mewtwo’s Custom ★ Power-Ups that you get in the Prize Box for items such as 5★ Power-Ups.

Note: To exchange items for this event, go to the Exchange Items menu in the Shop, then look for the Legendary Event: Lurking Shadow section of the Event tab.

Important

This event’s story is the same as the previously held Legendary Event: Lurking Shadow.Note: You can claim the rewards even if you previously completed the Legendary Event: Lurking Shadow.
To participate, you must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those you can actually obtain.
Items remaining in the prize box will no longer be obtainable after proceeding to the next prize pool.
When the prize box closes, leftover Legendary Prize Coins P will be converted into coins (10 coins per Legendary Prize Coin P) and sent to your Present Box.
Please note that if you fulfill the requirements to acquire Giovanni & Mewtwo after their Move Level has been upgraded to 5, you will get a 3★ Power-Up instead of a 5★ Power-Up.
All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
